Open, but Totara, Bivvy and Ellas Tracks closed. Divert via Bush Road Track to Summit then left to Mt Ada.
Climb through Ōhinetahi Reserve to the summit of Mt Ada for breath-taking views and a brilliant adventure combining Ngaio, Titoki, South Boundary, Bush Road, Totara Log, Ellas, Crater Rim and Faulkners Tracks. The descent on Faulkners Track is steep – wear boots, take a stick and avoid times when tracks will be slippery after rain. Brochure essential to follow route.

Explore a myriad of tracks in Ōhinetahi Reserve created by volunteers from the Summit Road Society. Expect steep climbs, great views and a mix of native forest, open pasture and plantings. Best to access from the Summit Road opposite Sign of the Bellbird.
