Round the Mountain via Curry Track

Prohibited Superb walk visiting Purple Peak Curry Reserve.

Superb walk from Akaroa via Woodills North to Purple Peak Curry Reserve. Enjoy regenerating and old growth forest, visit Frank Worsley's childhood home site, and make a circuit round Purple Peak on Curry Track before descending. Shorter options - drive to Heritage Park or make a half circuit via Grehan Valley. Skyline Beech is a short side track along the ridgeline.
